  • Overview

     Under  the  guidance  of  the  Videographics  Manager,  the  Video  Producer/Editor,  develops  and   implements  video  productions  to  create  best in class  content  that  influences  opinions  about   the  IPsoft  brands  and  increases  customer  acquisition  and  loyalty.       This  position  serves  as  an  expert  in  filming,  video  editing,  lighting,  field  audio  recording,  and   motion  graphics  design.  He/she  creates  scripts,  storyboards,  and  creative  treatments  and   turns  them  into  engaging,  useful  video  content  for  clients,  thought  leaders  and  employee   audiences.  This  role  will  shoot,  edit  and/or  produce  diverse  video  content  including:   customer  stories,  marketing  and  advertising  videos,  executive  communications,  employee   campaign  promotions  and  social  media  channel  videos. Must  be  equally  comfortable,  and  effective,  working  both  independently  and  collaboratively   with  a  mix  of  internal  business  and  partner  teams,  as  well  as  with  clients  and  vendors.      

    Responsibilities

    -­Solid  knowledge  of  audio,  video  and  graphics  editing,  and  media  compression   programs.  

    -­Ability  to  lead  video  shoots  and  post  production  sessions,  edit  and  post  from  rough   cut  to  final  deliverable  

    -­Ability  to  operate  video  cameras  and  other  production  equipment  to  shoot  footage   with  technical  and  creative  proficiency  

    -­Thorough  knowledge  of  production  best  practices,  technologies  and  processes    

    -­Expertise  with  a  wide  range  of  video  formats,  including  digital  and  social  media  

    -­Strong  understanding  of  content  license  requirements,  video  workflows,  encoding,   content  management  systems,  storage  and  optimized  delivery  systems    

    -­Knowledge  of  media  compression  deliverable  formats  and  standards

    -­Demonstrated  interpersonal,  verbal  and  written  communication  skills    

    -­Flexibility  to  work  in  a  diverse  organization  with  many  stakeholders    

    -­Strong  critical  thinking  and  analysis  skills  

    Qualifications

    -Typically,  a  minimum  of  three  (3)  years  producing  experience  with  increasing   complexity  of  productions  required  

    -­Demo  reel  showing  experience  producing  video  content  to  include  corporate   identity,  leadership  communications,  short and long-form  storytelling  for  a   consumer  audience  and  marketing/advertising  efforts    

    -­Expertise  in  modern  video  and  photo  production  and  post-­‐production  techniques,   hardware,  software,  technology  resources  and  solutions  (includes  cameras,  lights,   audio,  computers,  media  deliverable  posting/streaming)

    -­Extensive  experience  in:  Adobe  Premiere,  After  Effects,  Photoshop,  Illustrator,  and   Media  Encoder
