Responsibilities

-Working closely with the global UX and Visualization teams

    -Adapting graphics technologies and architectures traditionally used in games/vfx to data visualization.

    -You will be in charge of leading the implementation of our Augmented Reality + VR initiatives.



Qualifications

-Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5

    -Experience with Three.js, SVG, WebGL and Canvas/CSS animation

    -Knowledge about browser-based 3D rendering.

    -Ability to learn new technologies quickly

    -Expertise in 3D graphics and Info-graphics

    -Familiarity with continuous integration and automated deployment systems

    -Self-motivated and directed, with a keen interest in current and emerging technologies

    -Working understanding of level of detail when visualizing large data sets

    -You have a solid understanding of how ‘the back end’ works and understand the role of a framework like Node.js or a language like Java. If you’ve got experience with building things on the back-end (APIs, services etc.) even better.

   

Education and experience:

    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design or other relevant field

    - Experience defining coding standards and best practices

 

Nice to have:

    -Game/VFX/VR industry experience

    -Familiarity with Unity/Unreal game engines

    - Node.js ecosystem

    -JS physics libraries (Ammo.js, Box2D JS etc.)

    -Solid maths knowledge for geometry, trigonometry, and linear algebra

    -Exposure and understanding of various CAD packages.

    -Jira + Bitbucket + Bamboo understanding
