Overview

The technical architect is a supporting member of the agile teams implementing cognitive solutions. The Technical Architect is accountable for the successful deployment of Amelia solutions.  The responsibility of the techncial architect is to support sales with designing appropriate solution and underlying investment part of business case and ensure quality of detailed designs and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the scoping and legal phase in sales process, ensuring technical feasibility of the proposed SOWs
  • Participate in Transversal analysis to understand the technical challenges and find the appropriate solutions
  • Understand technical requirements for the proposed solution (i.e. availability, operational loads, key related client systems, and deployment strategy)
  • Understand client’s as-is technology landscape and any ongoing projects which might affect project execution or force to change the strategy
  • Design architectural blueprint for client install, outlining Amelia fit into the client landscape, hardware sizing, deployment model (on premises or not, type of access, etc.) broad strategy for integrating with security framework at client (not only access but as escalation / delegation mechanisms), configuration of Amelia (align design with client, Cognitive Project Lead, and Implementation)
  • Share with internal teams (Configuration & Implementation and Interface & Security) the approach and align with them the internal approach to follow)
  • Off project process: periodically interact with R&D team to understand Amelia roadmap and give input on technological trends seen at clients

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience implementing technical solutions
  • Scripting language experience such as javascript, groovy, or python
  • Great understanding of or experience in software development
  • Integration experience in an enterprise environment (wsdl/soap, rest based web services)
  • Understanding of security requirements and solutions
  • Understanding and ability to create target architectures
  • Understanding and ability to create process flow-diagrams
