Overview

Cognitive Business Architects assume join responsibility with the Industry Cognitive Solutions Director for the end-to-end development of the IPsoft Cognitive business within a focus sub-domain in the industry. This entails the Defining and prioritising Cognitive Agent solutions for development, Identifying and sourcing co-development clients (in coordination with IPsoft Sales), Designing specific Cognitive Health Agent solutions (ideally in collaboration with co-development clients), Quality Assuring the effective delivery of these solutions and PODs (providing expert direction to the work of Engagement Managers and in collaboration with R&D and delivery), and Defining and implementing a Go-to-Market strategy for the industry domain solutions.

 

Business Architects combine strategic vision with a hand-on design, operational and entrepreneurial mindset, and are expected to supervise/QA and guide the Engagement Managers working within their sub-domain, drawing on their domain expertise, relationships and operational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Co-leads (with the Industry Cognitive Solutions Director) the development of a prioritised Cognitive Solutions roadmap, drawing on their industry domain expertise.
  • Validates and prioritises the roadmap by engaging an external network of experts and clients, to prioritise solutions based on potential value (business cases), feasibility and differentiation.
  • Defines a solution POD client co-development strategy, defining criteria for suitable co-development client and partners.
  • Originates and secures the co-development client agreements (whether directly originating these clients or effectively closing arrangements originated by Sales).
  • Leads the design of specific prioritized health agent solutions, working with IPsoft R&D, Technology Architects and Implementation colleagues.
  • Ensures an effective delivery of high impact PODs, quality assuring the solution development with R&D and Delivery Teams (supervising and supporting the Engagement Managers assigned to these PODs), and assuming accountability for client satisfaction and impact, and referenceability.
  • Develops and leads the implementation of a Go-to-Market strategy in their focus sub-domain, including both the prioritisation of markets and clients and the development of effective channels to market (whether internal sales, sales and delivery partners, or industry OEM relationships with relevant platforms or vendors).
  • Shapes and implements an effective marketing and awareness strategy in the sub-domain, including shaping and delivering relevant publications, securing IPsoft visibility through conferences and partners, and lead the development of relevant client testimonials and demos.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Industry expertise in at least 1 of the following healthcare domain areas:HospitalsPrimary care / Community Care / Population Health management, Healthcare payors (public or private), Life Sciences.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a field relevant to the industry sub-domain (e.g. Medical Degree).
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and track record.
  • Experience in shaping, designing and developing new services or solutions, within either a professional services firm or a technology vendor.
  • Extensive experience as a Customer Relationship Manager or Client Engagement Manager.
  • A history of working for technology companies or on technology projects.
  • A wealth of Consultancy experience.
  • Familiarity with or an interest in AI / Cognitive technologies.
  • Flawless oral and written communication skills a must.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Exceptional work ethic: goals-driven, results-oriented individual for whom “good enough” is not acceptable.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of business-driven technology solutions required.
